VALTRUF was born from the shared dream of two families passionate about nature and experienced in truffle cultivation. This life project is rooted in the Comarca de la Hoya de Buñol, a Valencian region recognized for its high environmental value, diverse ecosystems, and rich landscapes — creating the perfect setting for growing black truffles.
Each black truffle born in our fields is the result of a careful process that respects natural cycles and the biodiversity of the environment. We apply sustainability and ecological principles, along with biodynamic practices, understanding that true excellence springs from respect for the land.
Working as a team with the invaluable help of our faithful truffle dogs, we harvest the truffles with great care and dedication. This process not only guarantees the exceptional quality of our product but also reflects our philosophy of respect and trust, ensuring that each truffle reaches our clients’ and friends’ tables in optimal condition.

I’m Betty, Head of the Truffle Search Department at Valtruf, and I love my job! I live with Arsenio’s family—also part of Valtruf—and we make a great team. My hobbies include sniffing around on walks, playing with pinecones and sticks, and above all, swimming (I guess it’s because I’m a water dog!).

I’m Hada, Betty’s daughter, and also part of the Truffle Search Team at Valtruf. I live with my mother and Arsenio’s family. I adore the scent of truffles and love finding them. My hobbies include finding pinecones for Arsenio to throw, swimming, and being petted.

I’m Kira, the youngest member of the Valtruf Truffle Search Team. I live with Peter and Fernanda’s family, and behind my sweet and intelligent gaze hides a dog who is friendly with people and playful with other dogs. I find truffles calmly and patiently. I love walking, playing, and eating acorns.
