Shipping

– I live outside Spain. How can I find out the cost of my order?

If you live outside mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, please email us at info@valtruf.com. We’ll inform you of the shipping prices and available delivery days based on your destination, so you can choose the option that best fits your needs.

– How can I report a problem with my order?

Contact us as soon as possible by sending an email to info@valtruf.com or a WhatsApp message to +34 644 837 516. Please include photos. If the product arrives damaged or incomplete, take pictures of the box and the item so we can analyze the issue properly.

Adopt a Tree

– When can I receive my truffle as a sponsor?

You can request your truffle at any time during the harvest season, which runs from mid-December to late March. With the discount voucher you receive when becoming a sponsor, you can claim your truffle through our website in the SHOP section, where we update availability regularly.

– How can I gift a tree to someone else?

You can gift a tree by entering your own details for billing and the recipient’s details for shipping. The recipient will receive a confirmation email to accept their tree and enjoy all the sponsor benefits.

– How much does it cost to sponsor a tree?

The cost depends on the plan and the number of trees you wish to sponsor:

  • Promesa: Initial cost €80 per tree (first year). From the second year onward, €50 per tree.
  • Diamante Negro: Initial cost €100 per tree (first year). From the second year onward, €80 per tree.
  • Fidelización: One-time payment of €400 per tree for five years. From the sixth year onward, €80 per year per tree.

– What happens if my sponsored tree dies?

Don’t worry — we will plant a new one in its place or assign you another tree. You’ll continue to receive updates on its growth and care.

– Where can I find my sponsor certificate?

We’ll send it to you by email, a few days after your sponsorship has been confirmed.

– Can I receive truffles from my sponsored tree?

If your tree is over 6 years old (Diamante Negro or Fidelización), it’s very likely you’ll receive truffles from your own tree — as long as they’re in perfect condition and ripeness.

If your tree is younger than 6 years (Promesa), it might not yet produce truffles. In that case, your truffles will come from another tree.

– How can I end my tree sponsorship?

If you decide to stop sponsoring your tree, contact us by email. We’ll confirm the cancellation by sending you a confirmation email.

– How long does sponsorship last?

Your sponsorship continues as long as you pay the annual maintenance fee. Once you purchase a tree and receive your confirmation email, you officially become a sponsor of your truffle oak.

– When do I need to renew my sponsorship?

The adoption fee is annual. For example, if you became a sponsor in February 2025, your renewal payment will be due in February 2026, and so on.
We’ll remind you one month before your renewal date by email.

Remember, the renewal is automatic unless you notify us by email that you wish to cancel.

– When can I use my discount vouchers?

You can use your discount vouchers whenever truffles are available. We update truffle availability throughout the harvest season on our website.

– What happens when my tree turns older than 6 years?

You’ll have two options:

Continue sponsoring your current tree, now an adult, and choose between the Diamante Negro or Fidelización plans. Details and benefits are listed in the “ADOPT A TREE” section on our website.

Or, if you prefer to keep sponsoring a younger tree, we’ll assign you a new one under 6 years old, preserving your current benefits.

– How can I access the online sponsor community?

Once you’ve received your confirmation email, we’ll send you a link to access the exclusive online community for sponsors.

– What is a truffle hunt?

Truffle hunting refers to the traditional practice of gathering truffles using trained dogs. As a sponsor, you’ll have the opportunity to join us, collect your truffles, and visit your own truffle oak. We’ll propose several dates so you can choose the one that best suits you.

– Can I bring my family to the truffle hunt?

Of course! We’d love for you and your family to share this special day. For organizational reasons, we can host up to 5 family members per visit.

Truffle Cultivation

-What does it mean that your truffles are organic?

Our truffles are organic because we use earth-friendly techniques without chemical fertilizers or herbicides. We are certified by the Regulatory Committee for Organic Agriculture of the Valencian Community, which ensures our practices are sustainable and environmentally responsible. This results in healthy truffles free of chemical residues.

-What are biodynamic practices?

Biodynamic farming involves using biodynamic compost and preparations, following the lunar calendar, and closely observing the crops and their natural surroundings. These practices foster life, balance, and healthy soil conditions for optimal truffle growth.

-What is Regenerative Trufficulture (TR)?

Regenerative Trufficulture is a farming approach that aims to restore and strengthen ecosystems by using sustainable agricultural methods that regenerate the soil and preserve biodiversity. It avoids harmful practices like intensive plowing and the use of agrochemicals, encouraging a healthy, productive environment.

-What types of trees grow on the estate?

We primarily cultivate holm oaks, but there are also hazelnut trees, oaks, and natural kermes oaks in the surrounding area.

– When is black truffle season?

The black truffle harvest season in our region runs from mid-December to March, depending on the year’s weather conditions.

Truffle Tourism

– How long does a Truffle Tourism day last?

The experience lasts approximately 5 hours. You’ll learn about truffle cultivation and harvesting and enjoy their unique aroma and culinary value.

– Can I visit the farm?

If you’d like to visit us, please email us or call +34 644 837 516. Tell us your interest (truffle tourism, farm consulting, etc.), and we’ll try to tailor the visit to your needs.
